Simple, straightforward, respectful
I will give you an honest opinion about what you have and explain what makes sense. No pressure, no confusing process, and no need to haul boxes anywhere.
Deal directly with Pat, a longtime Tampa Bay buyer—not a call center or an anonymous online form.
Artist, pressing, condition, demand, and completeness all matter. I will explain my evaluation clearly.
For collections that fit, I can arrange a visit, make a cash offer, and help remove the records.
What I buy
I am especially interested in vinyl collections with rock, soul, funk, jazz, blues, gospel, punk, metal, indie, rap, disco, and world music.
A respectful answer saves time
I am generally not looking for heavily damaged records, water-damaged collections, common easy-listening titles, Christmas, children’s records, most big band, Broadway, classical, or country records.
But if you are not sure, please call or send photos. Some collections contain surprises.
“I know that a record collection can hold memories as well as value. My job is to make selling it clear, fair, and easy.”— Pat
How it works
Call, email, or send a few photos. Let me know your city, approximate number of records, and main genres.
I will tell you whether it is a fit and, when appropriate, arrange a convenient time to see it. We can also FaceTime live so you can show me your collection before a visit.
I evaluate the collection in person and make a straightforward offer. There is never an obligation to accept.

About Pat Nolen
Pat Nolen has bought, sold, collected, and evaluated vinyl records and music memorabilia since the late 1970s. He is the former owner of Kingfish Records and the organizer of the Tampa Record & CD Show.
From rare jazz 78s and soul 45s to large estate collections and concert memorabilia, Pat understands the market—and the personal stories behind a collection.

Why condition matters
A clean record with its original cover, inner sleeve, and inserts can be worth much more than a worn or incomplete copy. Artist, pressing, rarity, demand, and condition all make a difference.
Helpful tip: Please do not use household cleaners or tape damaged covers before calling. Leave items as they are and I will advise you.
Ask About Your RecordsInclude your city, an approximate number of records, the main genres, and a few wide photos of shelves or boxes. If you have 45s, posters, shirts, or other memorabilia, mention those too.

Areas served
Based in the Tampa Bay area, I regularly work with sellers throughout the region and consider larger or especially desirable collections across Florida.
For areas I cannot personally cover, I may be able to recommend another qualified buyer.
Questions sellers ask
You do not need to know every title or value before getting in touch. A few photos and basic details are enough to begin.
Some are. Value depends on artist, title, pressing, condition, demand, and completeness—not simply age.
Yes. Estate, DJ, radio-station, and personal collections are welcome, along with selected smaller collections.
Often, yes. I especially enjoy buying 45 RPM records. Let me know the artists and genres you have.
Take a few wide photos of shelves, boxes, or stacks, plus clear photos of any unusual or collectible-looking titles and labels.
